Here’s this idea I’ve been working on the past week and I finally feel that I’m in the right direction. I’ve been on this kick of geometric-nature goodness for a while. I feel like like every piece I finish gets me closer to the ideas I have in my head. I’m looking for the place or the action that frees my mind and body from it’s physical form. As I’ve read from researchers, Our bodies are solid mass resonating at a very low frequency. If we are on the low end of the spectrum what would be the opposite? The lightwave. Each and everyone of us is capable of achieving this resonance. This information does NOT belong to one person or a group. In this sketch, I’m talking about a movement from the physical form to a pure energy source through the help of mother nature. It’s always about a transformation… those are always the greatest stories in society. I’ll be working on 36″x60″ canvas for this one. I’m laughing at myself because a few posts ago I said that I would be working on a smaller scale.
The group show at the New Puppy Gallery is coming to a close this Saturday. The festivities start at 4 PM. Catch some awesome visuals of wildlife.
I’m working on a new painting and I was having fun with a couple of insects for the scenery.
Man, I almost forgot. I have a show tonight at the New Puppy Gallery. Part of the proceeds will go to help endangered species in Costa Rica. It starts tonight at 5 PM. I have to give a shout out to Gary for inadvertantly asking me if I have any shows going on… Thank you! Joe Weatherly is the featured artist and I’m looking forward to seeing his sketch work. google his name, find his site and you’ll see how heroic he is with the sketches.
It took me awhile to get these photos. The following day was camera time. all the drummers were to look like they were coming from the mural. I met up with Akon during the shoot. I really just wanted to get my stuff taken care of.
One of the graphic designers at activision became very liberal with a past work of mine. Kudos for doing your research when you googled, “hip hop”. Next time familiarize yourself with the term, “biting” and do a little creative thinking on your part.
Courtside Jones: 3 Player Preview from Courtside Jones on Vimeo.
Here is a project I did for a show called Courtside Jones. It’s a basketball diary where they interview NBA greats like Rick Barry. It looks saucey!
