I was asked to do a taped demonstration for NextWindows and their touchscreen monitors. I’m sure military technology is way beyond what I’m working with here… but this stuff shows real promise. Take a look as I use and talk about this instrument. Now you can put a voice to the person =)

Good day people. Viento y Agua Coffee House and Gallery will be hosting my work this month in Long Beach CA. Opening night will be Saturday July 10th. Glenn Red Of Afro Funke´will be on the turntables from 7 to 10. If you know who he is then you know his music selection is eclectic and funky. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces.

I hope all you guys have noticed the new design of the site. Thanks to my friend Greg at Graphic Agenda for the super clean work. This week (Thursday) I will be at Zanzibar in Santa Monica for another night of cool rhythms and fresh styles for Afro Funke. This time around my good friend Ervin will be on the turntables while I paint. Let’s not forget Jeremy Sole of KCRW and Glenn Red will be the pillars for the AF sound.

I got four activities going on this week (I’ll only be able to attend three of them). This Thursday (5/18) Onecypher.com and Crazy Legs of the World Famous Rocksteady Crew will be having a private screening of “Bouncing Cats”. It’s an inspiring story about b-boys in Uganda overcoming their hardships. I will be there donating my time and art to this charitable event. Next on the menu is a commercial I will be working on for Dunkin Donuts on Friday. After that is done I will be heading over to USC (on Saturday evening) for a celebration of the CoachArt Collective. This fine groups mission is to improve the quality of life for children who have chronic and life-threatening illnesses. And last but not least, i will have a painting over at the group show, Cannibal Flower (Satuday night).
