Commissioned piece
February 12, 2012 commentI worked on a theme that wasn’t too far from the ideas that run through my head. The inspiration was based around a bonsai tree and the control we subject nature to. Here’s a crop version of the painting. You can find the entire image in the Polymorphic group. It’s titled, “Natural Inquisition of Order”.
El Mac, Vietnam
February 3, 2012 commentI believe El Mac Bridges the gap of old school can control and depth with an updated technique that no one can claim.
New painting, “You summoned my spirit”
January 31, 2012 commentI got a new one for you. The final moments of this painting had me up for 20 hours. It’s difficult to put a painting down when you know the story is almost complete. A little mythology from certain stories were put together for this one (as though this would be the first time?). It’s Titled, “You summoned my spirit. My eyes are in your sky”. Gaia section..bottom pic in the group.

Jungle City Studio Mural
January 27, 2012 2 commentsI caught wreck in NY this month and these are pics of the work in progress. Filming is near completion and finished photos will be taken once new lighting is installed in the area. Total wall space was 41′x8′ which mandated Two weeks worth of real furious painting. The door on the left of me in the first two pics belongs to Alicia Keys. Would you like to see this mural? Unless your delivering food… This mural is accessible only if you have the proper connections and bank roll. The After Midnight Soul series is def in effect with those official Sunset colors for the dead of winter.

Back in the West
January 20, 2012 commentI returned from NY on Tuesday. I needed a day of rest and another to get my place cleaned up again. I have some pics of the mural.. I’ll get them together later this weekend. In the mean time check out this awesome video for the album Rome. The title speaks to me… and the animation is quite descriptive.
