Sorry for keeping you guys out of the loop. I haven’t been sleeping on my own time. I have some new work in the making. However, I’ve been dealing with a new situation with my wrists. It looks like my forearms have been under a lot of stress and are starting to tell me that they need some rest. If I’m going to keep this art thing going, I will have to listen to my body and do what it needs me to do. So from here on out, I will have to ice my arms regularly and practice daily stretching. A part of me wishes that I didn’t have to deal with this… but I think this is for my mental and physical well being.
So now on to some exciting news. My “After Midnight’ series is making some headway with some of the singers. The first person to show some love was Erykah Badu on her myspace page
The latest now? Well, Jill Scott’s website has posted up my video of her portrait and song, “Hate on me”. Watch the video on their site and show some love with a comment on the video.
